Questions & Answers
If your question isn't answered here, please feel free to reach out to us directly.
What is the dress code?
We'd love for you to dress in smart/semi-formal attire. Think cocktail dresses and suits. Please avoid white or ivory (save that for the bride!). The venue has a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, so ladies may want to consider heel height.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to venue capacity, we can only accommodate guests who have been specifically named on your invitation. If your invitation says 'and guest' then absolutely bring your plus one!
Are children welcome?
While we love your little ones, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration (with the exception of our flower girl and page boy). We hope this gives you a chance to let your hair down!
What time should I arrive?
We ask that guests arrive by 2:30 PM to be seated before the ceremony begins at 3:00 PM. There will be light refreshments available on arrival.
Is there parking at the venue?
Unfortunately, there is no parking at The Mount Without. The nearest car park is Trenchard Street Car Park, about a 5-minute walk away. We recommend carpooling or using taxis/public transport where possible.
Will there be vegetarian/vegan options?
Yes! Please let us know your dietary requirements when you RSVP and we'll ensure the caterers are aware. We can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and most allergies.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. Our professional photographer will capture every moment, and we'll share the photos with you after. Feel free to snap away during the reception!
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
The Mount Without has step-free access via a ramp from St Michael's Hill. If you have any specific accessibility requirements, please get in touch and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
What happens if it rains?
The ceremony and reception will take place inside the historic venue, so we're covered rain or shine! The drinks reception may move indoors if the weather doesn't cooperate.
Is there a gift registry?
Your presence is truly the best gift we could ask for! However, if you'd like to give a gift, we have a small registry at John Lewis and The White Company, or contributions to our honeymoon fund are gratefully received.
When do I need to RSVP by?
Please respond by 1st May 2026 so we can finalise numbers with our caterers and venue.
